What Quill stores, who processes it, and how to have it deleted.

Last updated October 14, 2026

What Quill stores

  • Your Telegram id and the messages you send Quill, including voice notes and their transcripts.
  • Access to the accounts you connect (X, LinkedIn, GitHub). The tokens are encrypted before they are stored. How Quill uses your accounts says what each one is used for.
  • The name, username, and photo of each account you connect (Telegram, X, LinkedIn), to show which accounts are yours.
  • Your posts, drafts, and the numbers Quill reads about them.
  • Usage and cost records, so Quill can keep its prices.

Visits and analytics

On the landing page, without cookies, Quill records which page you opened, the link or campaign that brought you, the site you came from (its name, not the page), your approximate location (country, region, city), and whether you’re on a phone. Your IP address isn’t stored. If you then start the bot, that record is kept with your account.

If you accept cookies, PostHog sets cookies so it can recognise a returning visitor, and records how you use the public pages, as a replay with anything you type hidden. If you decline, PostHog counts your visit without cookies. PostHog also records the address of the page that linked you here. To change your answer, clear this site’s storage in your browser.

None of this runs on the signed-in pages.

Who processes it

  • Anthropic, to draft and read posts.
  • Deepgram, to transcribe voice notes.
  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Supabase, for the database, and Vercel, for hosting.
  • Inngest, to run scheduled jobs.
  • Apify, to read your public LinkedIn posts when you ask Quill to.
  • PostHog, for product analytics: events, where visits came from, and, if you accept cookies, replays of the public pages. It never receives your messages.
  • Sentry, for error reports, with personal data removed.

Deleting your data

Tell @HeyQuillBot on Telegram, or email [email protected], to ask for your data to be deleted. A person handles each request, and within 30 days your account, messages, voice notes, drafts, posts, numbers, connected tokens, landing visit, and analytics are removed. If you pay for a plan, it is cancelled first.

Cost records stay, without your name or anything that points to you, so Quill's totals still add up. Stripe keeps its own payment records for as long as tax law requires. Deleting your data doesn't remove Quill from X, LinkedIn, or GitHub; to do that now, remove it in each account's settings.
